water, the lubricant of life

Biodynamic Craniosacral

Recently I have had a couple of amazing Biodynamic Craniosacral sessions which blew my mind. If you like ‘consciousness surfing’, or are attracted by the concept, then this may be for you!

Quite different to ‘traditional’ craniosacral, where mostly the head, feet and sacrum are held/listened to, Biodynamic Craniosacral somehow uses the traditional framework and then takes that to a new level, at least for me.

I have had lots of physical issues sorted by Craniosacral over the years, in a manner that is totally outside of the allopathic system and its understandings of health and dis-ease.

Craniosacral is a lot like ‘meditation being done to/for you’ as without much work on your part you can have a taste of very deep meditation.

I am not discounting normal Craniosacral, and have over the years found it to be an amazingly effective modality that sorts out many issues, simply by creating balance in the system.

Here, with Biodynamic Craniosacral  light touch on arms, back, shoulders, neck, often lying on my side somehow aligned all the various forces and energy flows.

Watching my body during the session I was amazed at the various whirs of ‘internal motors; fuelled by exposed, released and harmonised tension within the non physical body, that would appear with subtle position changes.

For example, one moment I was calm, body totally relaxed, and the therapist would move her fingers ever so slightly, and an internal racing would occur that would settle after a minute, or even five minutes, and the energy became absorbed into the whole body energy system.

My first session was an unravelling of psychic physical and emotional knots which left my lying on the table a good 15 minutes in pure bliss, deep inside myself.

Driving home afterwards I stopped by the side of the road in a beautiful valley, enjoying, in a very quiet inner peace, the connection I felt with myself and the surrounding verdant nature.

The second session was similar (outwardly) to the first, but for me I just plunged into some awesome stillness that was fragrant with a fullness that was utterly delicious.

I was left lying on the table in total surrender, my psyche completely relaxed, my consciousness free and open.

Maybe Craniosacral, and particularly Biodynamic Craniosacral, is not for everyone, but it sure suits my make up.

Headaches, back problems, knee issues, concentration issues, even addictions I have observed being dissipated during a session.

Wholeheartedly recommended.
