Carolyn Boniface: The Rolf Method of Structural Integration.
Carolyn Boniface is an Advanced Practitioner of The Rolf Method of Structural Integration, trained by the traditional school of the teachings of Ida P. Rolf, Ph.D., The Guild for Structural Integration.
This approach is a hands-on, ten session process of three dimensional connective tissue manipulation, postural and movement education.
It releases complex restrictions and compensations while realigning the whole body in the earth’s gravitational field, the most potent force the body has to negotiate on an on-going basis.
Balance and posture are improved as well as freedom of movement. The process has a high success rate resolving chronic pain issues and slowing down (even reversing) common age-related complaints.
It supports positive body image, self awareness, self confidence and is an excellent complement to yoga, Pilates and other health practices.
Carolyn Boniface is also a registered (PACT) practitioner of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, trained by Stillness Trainings.
This receptive, highly respectful approach supports the fundamental integrity of the individual’s inherent wisdom, resourcefulness and self-healing capacity.
To be met and heard from a still, non-imposing and neutral place invokes dynamic awakening of the priorities and genius of ones own system.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is an outstanding complement to the Rolf process and is often used to integrate Rolf sessions. A full session of each approach combined can be extremely powerful.

Carolyn Boniface is a Byron Bay Rolfing practitioner and a Byron Bay Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist
I recently had a session Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Carolyn and was completely blown away. Carolyn held her hands on my head, then under sacrum, and then just held my feet, for about an hour in total. I got off table with a softer and looser pelvis than I have had for years, pain in my knee from arthritis and cartilage damage was majorly minimised, no associated limping (even playing tennis the following day my knee was fine, with none of the usual odd feel of discomfort).
I was balanced and loose. Wonderful. Why this works on muscles and joints, and torn cartilage, I (and allopathic medicine) have no real idea, but it does.
Playing tennis, and just walking, I have such a new sense of peace and rhythym in my body, very happy.
